But on Sunday, 30th January 2011, his well cut 3 piece Canali suit could not deter him when he went on his knees like English gentry before his congregation to pop the ‘will you marry me’ question to the then Miss Georgina Umoren… Mama Gina had answered in the affirmative and by 19th February of that same year, the ‘proposal’ and the ‘Agreement’ was unionized in a majestic GICY nuptial ceremony. Their wedding was a study in romance and royalty…Papa Cyril singing to Mama Gina, and Mama Gina singing back to him…not agreeing to ‘carrying last’…like two pigeons cooing the same song; a Songs of Solomonic Something.
